Faye is a solicitor in the Asylum and Human Rights team. After an undergraduate degree in Politics, Faye   attended law school in London and   trained and qualified with a boutique human rights firm, working on Caribbean death row cases before the Privy Council, public law matters, international   political cases and domestic criminal and civil litigation and family matters.

Faye later moved to the United States and passed the Bar Exams of California and Tennessee, where she practised in criminal, family and immigration law. After passing the National Competitive Recruitment Exam for the United Nations she was posted to Vienna for the   Department of Political Affairs and then to Geneva working for the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, later gaining a further post graduate qualification in international human rights and French language certification.

On returning to the UK Faye worked for an international immigration firm in financial services before settling in Nottingham and returning to her passion for human rights and asylum.
