Asylum and Human Rights

Making a claim for asylum can be a daunting and stressful event which is heightened by the media portrayal of the process as well as the complicated policies in place. However, at Paragon Law we have a team of seven dedicated immigration solicitors and caseworkers who all work tirelessly to help individuals claim asylum in the UK. The passion of our legal team has seen our cases be represented in the High Court, Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court.

Our team of immigration solicitors only deal with cases of asylum, meaning that they understand the process and therefore are thorough and effective in their work. Since you only get one chance to present the best possible case to the UK Border Agency, the expertise and knowledge held by your immigration lawyer should relieve your anxieties.

At Paragon Law we will make an initial assessment of your case and inform you on the strength of your case. Transparency is something which is important to us, therefore, we let you know of your legal position straightaway. In doing so, we aim to minimise the chances of your time being wasted and to ensure that you are not left in the dark. However, if we do take on your case then we will fight your corner at every stage of the legal process.

Over the years of practicing this kind of law, we have come to the realisation that putting increased efforts into fewer cases maximises the chance of success. In every case, where necessary, our solicitors will work with external experts such as country experts, medical experts, and barristers. Through consolidating with a wider team, our solicitors are able to cover all grounds, meaning that the chances of success are increased.

At Paragon Law our services are not restricted to private clients, rather we work with an abundance of organisations including social services, charities, and other law firms. If you represent such an organisation we will be happy to discuss our services with you.

Our immigration lawyers are able to assist on the following types of human rights and asylum cases:

Claiming asylum and human rights protection in the UK. Family reunion applications.
Asylum claim for unaccompanied asylum seeking children. Fresh asylum and human rights applications for people with new evidence.
