HR Business Partner

What will you do?

 

We are looking for a qualified HR business partner to oversee all human resources operations and ensure they are aligned with our business goals. You will work closely with the board of directors and with senior managers to express new ideas and suggest solutions, considering budget limitations and our company culture.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consult with line management and provide HR guidance
  • Review and implement improvements to our recruitment and onboarding procedures
  • Work closely with management and colleagues to improve work relationships and support structures
  • Review and suggest recommendations to our health and wellbeing programme
  • To research and recommend a competitive benefits package
  • To implement and monitor the success of our remote working policy 
  • To review and advise on the automation of HR processes for ease of use for all colleagues
  • To work with colleagues to ensure that our values and brand are aligned
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals
  • Evaluate training programs
  • Suggest new HR strategies and policy guidance

 

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent people management skills
  • Proven work experience as an HR business partner
  • Up to speed with current HR trends
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
  • Good knowledge of employment legislation
  • CIPD qualified 

 

Personal Skills

  • A professional and enthusiastic approach to your work
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload without supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Analytical and goal oriented

 

Job Type:

Full-time or part-time. HR consultants will also be considered for this role. Initially 12 months fixed-term contract.

 

Salary:

Dependent on experience

 

Benefits:

  • 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising by an additional day for each full year’s service to a maximum of 30 days
  • Auto enrolled onto our pension scheme after 3 months service

 

Education:

  • CIPD qualified
  • Degree or Diploma of Higher Education

 

Experience:

Proven work experience as an HR business partner

 

Language:

English (required)

 

Work remotely:

Yes, but as Covid-19 restrictions lift you must have the ability to travel to our Nottingham office as and when required.​​​​​​​
