Immigration Solicitor

What will you do?


We are looking to recruit a solicitor to join our well-respected and busy Personal and Family immigration department. The current team comprise of 6 lawyers and support staff headed up by Nigel Smith. You will have the opportunity to develop your own interesting and varied caseload consisting of a mix of initial applications, appeals and higher court work. In addition, you will be involved in business and relationship development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their career.  



  • You will have a minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience in advising families and individuals on UK immigration law applications. In addition, you must have:
  • A professional and enthusiastic approach to your work
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload without supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; you must be able to co-ordinate tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively
  • Keen attention to detail
  • You will be highly results driven



Dependent on experience.



  • 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising by an additional day for each full year’s service to a maximum of 30 days
  • Auto enrolled onto our pension scheme after 3 months service


Work remotely:


Yes, but as Covid-19 restrictions lift you must have the ability to travel to our Nottingham office as and when required.
