Paragon Law 18 years and still going strong.


Paragon Law was established in 2003. In the same year, Thalej Vasishta was named solicitor of the year.


In 2004 we were recognised by the Law Society for our racial equality and diversity in our recruitment processes. And not one to miss out, Kirin Abbas followed Thal’s suit and was named Trainee Solicitor of the Year.


The annual Paragon Human Rights Lecture was established.


We won Legal Team of the Year at the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year awards.


We opened an office in, and started to deliver our services to individuals and businesses in India. In the same year we formed an association with Nejame and Partners to provide US immigration advice.


We won Legal Team of the Year at the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year awards.


Paragon Law was awarded with Business of the Year by Business Link. In the same year we were featured in a Red Cross campaign for Refugee Week.


Our director and head of asylum, Deirdre Sheahan, won her case at the Supreme Court.


We opened our London office to increase our business presence.


We set up a joint venture with Complete Sports Solutions (Asia), and we were published in Forbes. However, our biggest achievement of the year was our involvement with the World Event for Young Artists.


We were ranked the top immigration law firm in Nottingham. And a case of ours won at the European Court of Justice.


The Chamber and Partners Directory called us a regional heavyweight in immigration law.


We made a TV appearance and even got mentioned in The Guardian for our work with asylum seekers. Paragon Edge: a new partnership to serve Nigeria was established.


Paragon Law’s corporate team begins to advise some of the UK’s largest businesses on their people strategy with Brexit looming.


We ranked in the Top Tier of the Legal 500 in the East Midlands for Immigration Law.


The Times ranked us as one of the best eleven immigration law firms in the UK. Our head of asylum and one of our directors, Deirdre Sheahan, was featured in the documentary, The Movement.


We were recognised (again) as being a Tier 1 law firm by The Legal 500.


The Global Advisory Experts ranked us as being the Corporate Immigration Law Service Provider of the Year. And The Global 100 ranked us as being the Mid-Market Business Immigration Law Firm of the year.


Our work with ‘Here For Good’ was recognised by Generation Next. We were also ranked as the top Corporate Immigration Service Provider of the Year in England by Corporate Intl.
