Our Approach

Paragon Investment’s approach reflects our appreciation for innovation in business and our heritage of entrepreneurship.

We seek companies with developed ideas, ventures and concept-proven businesses with the potential for rapid growth. Ideally, ventures will already be revenue generating and be led by an experienced management team.

Paragon Investment does not specialise in any specific sector and thus if we believe an opportunity makes commercial sense and we are confident we can add value then we will consider the opportunity.

Paragon Investment are focused on companies with the following characteristics:


  • Mid to Late Stage – Proven concept/technology
  • Disruptive technologies and business models
  • Revenue Generating
  • Experienced management teams
  • Rapid and Explosive growth potential


While we may work with businesses that do not meet the above criteria, it is important to note that the above criteria represent the key focus of our investment team.

If you have a business which requires investment for launch in the UK please complete our online submission form for either an established business or new business. All proposals are assessed by our Investment Team. In order to enable us to conduct a full analysis of the information provided, and liase with our consultants to determine how we can add value the average response time is 2 weeks.

1. Business plan readiness

A well thought out and carefully structured business plan is the key to securing investment. Whatever stage your business plan is at we will work with you to develop it into a high impact plan maximising the chances of success with any investor.

2. Pitching for investment

Our experienced team of coaches will work with you to ensure your business plan is turned into an effective investment pitch and you are fully prepared to answer a broad range of questions from potential investors. Alternatively, Paragon Investment can act as the lead in any pitch, presenting on your behalf.

3. Match making to investors

Paragon Investment is a matchmaking platform between companies wishing to invest and set up in the UK and with potential investors.  We are actively in contact with a range of investors from Business Angels to Venture Capitalists. Our matchmaking service aligns your investment requirements with investors needs.

The size of investment is dependent on its type and structure of the deal but we usually invest upwards of £50 000.

4. Direct investment

Paragon Investment will also invest directly into appropriate opportunities. Whilst we always need to buy into the concept and potential of any opportunity, we are equally interested in the ability and experience of management.  We only invest in management teams where we are confident we can work effectively alongside to achieve the business objectives.

Though our focus is on the commercial and operational attributes of an opportunity, Paragon Investment does not specialise in any specific sector and thus if we believe an opportunity makes commercial sense and we are confident we can add value then we will consider the opportunity.
